The importance of leading a healthy life was understood and implemented full well by American nutritionist and longevity research pioneer, Nathan Pritikin. Pritikin was diagnosed with heart disease at a young age, but he was determined to live a full life by taking charge of it and keeping diseases at bay. After following a disciplined lifestyle over the years and doing extensive research on the effects of controlled diet and exercise, he started the first Pritikin Longevity Center in 1976. Pritikin came to India in 2011. How has the first year been?
The concept of a Longevity centre in India is relatively a new concept. We have received a good response from our clients in the first year of operations, giving us confidence to plan for rolling our not just similar day formats in other cites but also actively work on the full-scale residential model.
What made VLCC open a Pritikin centre?
