Various sections in the Spa
The spa consists of a gymnasium, steam and sauna room, chilled pool, hot pool, jacuzzi, bath tub area and relaxation room. There are 5 Unisex Holistic Therapy Rooms, 1 Ayurveda therapy room, 1 couple’s suite, 2 facial therapy rooms and 2 manicure and pedicure stations.
Décor Impression
A dry river body runs from the reception area to the treatment rooms. Bathed in warm colours of orange, the corridors are dimly lit with candles burning outside each room. Attention to detail is the cornerstone of the design element. Each of the seven rooms can be identified by the gold lined inscription of the chakras on its translucent acrylic door. The treatment rooms sport soft off-whites on the walls, bamboo flooring, warm natural woods within the changing facilities and natural stone and pebbles in oversized showers. The ceiling coffers in the rooms are studded with abstract paintings, the colours of which are congruent with the colours of the chakra. The décor can be best defined by the setup used during the spa treatment.
Architectural Inspirations
The multi-functional spa reception serves both spa and fitness guests and incorporates the use of new materials such as acrylic. The white leather armchairs and the blue-green terrazzo tables at the ‘Juice Bar’ lend a relaxed yet sophisticated, urban look. The sculpture of a ‘person’ immersed in water acts as a precursor of the bliss that is in store for the guest. Designed by renowned sculptor, Sunil Padwal, it represents the cleansing process of the person after entering the spa’s tranquility zone.
Lighting
Dim lights are used in the treatment rooms to create an ambience of relaxation and comfort, whereas the lighting at the reception is brighter in order to cheerfully welcome the guests to the spa.
Concept of the spa menu
There is an Indian touch in all the treatments. As the hotel is located near the beach, the spa concept and menu are influenced by water.
Sourcing of spa materials
The slippers provided are specially designed with the Quan spa logo on it. Thalgo products are used for facial treatments while body wraps are made from cocoa powder and coffee.

The popular treatment at the spa is the ‘Quan – fusion treatment’. The ingredients used for the treatment are- spice oils, water, hot stone, bell, breathe oil and Thalgo products for the face. Only one therapist is required for the treatment. Its Bali and Hawaiian combination makes it unique. The starting price of the treatment is INR 5000/- + taxes. The duration of the treatment is usually 60 minutes, but it can go up to 2 hours depending on the guests.
